Curriculum Artist Roberto Cheula Cheula Roberto was born in Adria (RO) on 14 /01/1946 where he lives and has his studio. He has been painting for more than 50 years. An eclectic artist, he is never satisfied with the results he obtains and maintains an attitude of continual research of other sources of inspiration, perfecting original techniques over time and indulging in the search for new stylistic solutions, always very personal and fundamentally free from rigid constraints, ranging from Abstractionism (Afro) to Informal Art. The evidence of what appears to be a consolidated style does not exhaust the possibility of discovering new chromatic and compositional effects with strong emotional tones that constitute his unmistakable stylistic signature to this day. The critics speak of abstractionism of extraordinary inventive freshness..To his credit, he has won several national and international awards over time. (Switzerland, Austria) Solo and group exhibitions that have met with success and acclaim from the public and critics. He has participated in competitions and art exhibitions, receiving important prizes and awards. Remo Brindisi, Domenico Storari,Dario Barin, Ilario Bellinazzi and other prominent art critics have written about him. Art critic Vittorio Sgarbi has expressed words of appreciation for Roberto Cheula's artistic work. The artist has carried out and still carries out painting technique courses in Veneto, Friuli and Emilia Romagna . Cheula's paintings can be found at Smart ART Galleries in Verona, Pescara, Vicenza, at the Fighille Museum (PG) and in Gradisca di Isonzo . Many of his works are part of public and private collections. During the pandemic, he restored four three-by-four-metre altarpieces in an important church in Rovigo. In the recent competition 'La Margherita d'argento' in Cesena, Roberto Cheula received the prestigious Superpremio Acquisto with his work 'Luce nel buio'. Another recent important recognition in events in both Cerea and Fighille in the prestigious national art competition.
