POLO RALPH LAUREN UOMO
Ralph Lauren, born Ralph Lifschitz (New York, October 14, 1939), is an American fashion designer. He was born in the Bronx in 1939 to a family of Jewish immigrants from Belarus. In 1967, he created his label, Ralph Lauren Corporation, choosing a name inspired by a sport that embodies a world of understated elegance and classic style: polo. In his first collection, he debuted with a line of ties that achieved immediate success, despite being created against the current trend. Lauren designed them wide and handmade using unusual, rich, and vibrant materials. In 1969, he was the first to open a men's boutique within Bloomingdale's in New York. In 1971, he created his first women's line with a collection of menswear-inspired shirts, reinventing the classic male look for women's style. With the women's line, the polo player logo was also born, which is now ubiquitous and distinguishes the Ralph Lauren style. The following year, Polo Ralph Lauren expanded its presence by also starting to produce accessories and footwear. His great talent quickly propelled him to the top of sales rankings, and within a few decades, he managed to create a unique and unmistakable style. In the 1980s, the brand began to spread even more, thanks in part to the emergence of the Lo-Life movement. African American culture and prominent figures in the hip-hop genre began to use Ralph Lauren garments as urban uniforms, making the brand immune to ideological displacement. The brand increasingly acquired an elegant allure, ideal for business casual contexts, but also for everyday situations. Polo Ralph Lauren Men is the men's line of the Brand. Offering a wide range of clothing, accessories, and fragrances for men, Polo Ralph Lauren Men embodies the classic and sophisticated style that has made the brand famous. With refined details and an impeccable attention to materials, Polo Ralph Lauren Men is the ideal choice for men seeking timeless elegance.
