Spring 2020. Naples. Lockdown. Italy is at a standstill, immobile. The streets are empty, just like the prospects for each of us. Life at home has halted our dreams and prevented the sharing of small daily pleasures like company, laughter, and activities with our loved ones and friends. For the first time, our generation understood the true meaning of the word freedom. But we had our GARAGE, a family workspace where we could escape the sadness and a fate of confinement, to develop a project that celebrated precious moments of shared life and carefree days spent with the people we love. Our dreams took on new life, and creativity found its outlet – this is how OFF PLAY was born. OFF PLAY expresses the idea of leisure time ("time OFF") and getting back to having fun together ("let’s PLAY together!"), a different approach to a new lifestyle. The OFF PLAY product has a bold and contemporary design, combined with the quality and artisanal tradition of Made in Italy. Accessible to everyone so that no one feels excluded. The OFF PLAY project is a collaboration between experienced industry professionals, designers, and New Footwears, an Italian footwear manufacturer with three generations of quality production, also chosen by several luxury brands in the sector. With OFF PLAY, we bring Made in Italy and the creativity of our GARAGE to a dynamic audience that wants to spend wisely.
