In 2009, Massimo Giorgetti and the Paoloni Group joined forces to launch the first MSGM collection. Giorgetti's creativity draws extensively from the contemporary zeitgeist. Growing up in Rimini during the era of beach and club culture, he skillfully blends diverse inputs and harmonizes them into a spontaneous and individual aesthetic. Colors and prints burst forth as a visual interpretation of rhythmic accents and overwhelming beats. It is Giorgetti's ability to reinterpret the past through a modern language—bold, ironic, but never banal—and his knack for reading and anticipating the future that make MSGM one of the most acclaimed Italian brands on the international scene. A passionate collector and lover of contemporary culture, music, and art, Giorgetti continuously promotes new collaborations with artists such as Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari (Toiletpaper), Nico Vascellari, Massimo Vitali, Norbert Bisky, Todd Bienvenu, and Seth Armstrong, as well as with the master Dario Argento. "Never look back, it’s all ahead" and "lightness is not superficiality" are some of the brand's slogans, which also appear on its iconic t-shirts. Today, MSGM collections are available in over 600 multi-brand stores and at flagship stores in major international fashion hubs, including Milan, London, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Seoul.
