In the new proposals signed Karin Lindström enters Vanilla: an extremely refined ceramic due to the use of the color purple, a special pigment and also made by hand directly by the artist Karin.Vanilla is a spherical ceramic on which an irreverent play of color contrasts has been made, where the base and some vertical edges are black. Karin Lindström's Vanilla Raku pottery is an elegant object in muted colors. Gray and blue blend to give a graceful effect to this vase, with an irregularly shaped stone giving the object a finishing touch. Raku pottery comes from a very delicate process. The Raku technique, in fact, is a special type of firing that derives from Japanese culture. Thanks to the chemical and physical transformations that result from this creation process, the object stands out with its harmonious and simple shapes.
