JECKERSON
Founded in Bologna by Carlo and Alessandro Chionna in 1995, Jeckerson was born as a brand of trousers designed for golf players, with a new detail: a leather patch positioned on the thigh, to allow players to dry their hands before the swing without losing concentration. Driven by passion and enthusiasm, the two Chionna brothers made the first models at home and began to sell them personally on the green: success among golf clubs was immediate and, with the increase in orders, the first manufacturer also arrived, Franco Stocchi. It will then be Giannettore Cantarelli, the first CEO of the company with a charismatic and overwhelming personality, who will take over the reins of the company and introduce the concept of lifestyle. Thanks to the use of bright colors - a novelty at the time - and the experimentation with stretch cottons, the Jeckerson trousers will become an iconic garment capable of selling more than a million pieces a year. Already in the 90s and 2000s, with an avant-garde approach and under the creative guidance of Mauro Ravizza Krieger, Jeckerson opened up to the first real 360° collection projects, with the aim of creating total looks and generating a universe of values and style: a world within which the consumer could recognize himself. It was then that cultural contaminations, immersive experiences and collaborations were born, terms that are very current today but out of the ordinary for the time. This transversal approach led to important collaborations such as those with the stylist Stephan Janson, with the Blue Note musicians and with the Ducati team for the MotoGP. In 2021 the Jeckerson brand was acquired by Mittel Spa, an industrial investment holding company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, through an operation which, in fact, has a strong link with the original brand: the new owner company, in fact, sees as reference shareholder Franco Stocchi, co-founder of Jeckerson and an active part of its commercial success from the beginning until the early 2000s. Today Mittel has structured the relaunch of Jeckerson with the aim of redefining the canons of the trousers brand, maintaining his spirit of innovation, creativity and desire for freedom are constant.
