Fratelli Rossetti

The story of Fratelli Rossetti is a beautiful Italian entrepreneurial tale that began in 1953. It's not just the story of a company, but the story of a family: the founder, Renzo Rossetti, and his wife, Mrs. Lisetta, were dedicated to the business throughout their lives. Today, the company is led by the second generation of the family, brothers Diego, Dario, and Luca, who, with different vocations and skills, have steered the company to its 70th anniversary in the name of quality, united by their passion and respect for tradition. Diego joined the family business in 1978, taking care of the commercial sector, particularly focusing on developing foreign markets and expanding the retail network both in Italy and abroad. With him, Fratelli Rossetti became the first Italian fashion house to open a store on Madison Avenue in New York. Today, he is the President of the Company. In his free time, he dedicates himself to photography and philanthropic activities, personally involved in creating a shelter for children in Nepal. Dario began working in the style department in 1981, a natural progression after his artistic training and courses at the footwear school. A lover of art, an antique collector, and passionate about vintage cars, he enjoys visiting exhibitions and characteristic markets, where he finds inspiration for new creations to include in the collections. In the 1990s, even before graduating from Bocconi University in Milan, Luca was immediately involved in management control, making significant and continuous improvements in company processes. Today, he holds the role of CEO and is particularly involved in marketing activities and collection development. He believes in continuous education and renewal, essential for capturing new trends in the fashion industry. A lover of travel, he is also a passionate runner: he travels the world to participate in international marathons, such as those in New York, Boston, and Chicago. Fratelli Rossetti is characterized by "small great revolutions": tradition and quality go hand in hand with great curiosity and a desire for innovation. From the introduction of the tassel, to the invention of shoes to be worn without socks, from stylistic innovations to the launch of the "mannish" style, to the application of color in unique chromatic variations. Renzo Rossetti himself taught the importance of innovation in materials, styles, and forms: already in the 1960s, with a tanner friend, he experimented directly on leather by combining different colors. Today, the company continues this research and development activity thanks to the expertise of its master craftsmen and the creativity of the style office. The fiftieth anniversary of Fratelli Rossetti was celebrated with an important recognition: the Italian Post issued an official stamp dedicated to the brand, a symbol of Made in Italy excellence worldwide.
