The brand's story begins in the early 1980s in the United States when Diego and Andrea Della Valle discover the work jackets worn by firefighters in Maine. Sensing their potential, they acquire the Fay brand, specialized in technical clothing for fishermen and firefighters, introducing it to Italy with a precise idea: to adapt workwear for urban use. The work jacket thus becomes an excellent urban garment, quickly becoming a cult object in international capitals: the "4 Ganci Fay" (4 Hooks Fay). An iconic jacket, constantly reinterpreted and accompanied by a clothing line, especially outerwear, distinguished by the technical treatment of fabrics, attention to detail, and extreme functionality of the garments. Deeply rooted in tradition and timeless elegance, today Fay continues to communicate its essence by combining innovative materials and timeless characteristics of authentic Italian outerwear: style, excellence, and versatility. In 2019, the journey into the brand's archives begins, exploring the meeting between the authentic spirit of American workwear and the innate Italian taste: Fay Archive starts from Fay's DNA, celebrating its origins and expanding them to meet the needs of adventure, from the city to the great outdoors. Thus, a contemporary edition of the glorious "4 Ganci Fay" is born, introducing new chapters of a story rich in versatile garments to wear for a long time, timeless icons, free from the succession of seasons and trends.
