Our company was established in Marmaris, one of the popular tourist destinations in Türkiye, in 2013. As a result of research and development activities held in 2013 and 2014, the company launched its first collection to retail customers through multi-brand footwear stores, boutiques, chain stores and some department stores in 2015. Our sandals, receiving great admiration from retail customers, have satisfied the end customer to a large extent and as a result of market demand, these sandals have contributed to the emergence of men's and children's collection in a timely manner. Since the beginning of our research and development activities, the company has paid utmost attention to keeping the rope sandals vegan with an eco-friendly and sustainable manufacturing approach. Our BOHONOMAD brand rope sandals are all handmade by Turkish women. In the production plant built in 2015; with the awareness of social responsibility, the company produced the sandals by giving priority to employing women who did not have a stable and continuous job in their previous life and who could work in the agricultural sector as much as possible and providing them with good working conditions , a healthy environment and health insurance along with official payment slips. Thanks to this attitude of the company, women have managed to obtain their economic independence by working for years in our production site where they have a clean and safe working environment in terms of health.
